I have noticed a greater clamor in the past ten years regarding the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) components of an organization's business strategy. Even while it's easy to be pessimistic about the extent to which social good may occur in a capitalist company, I find it encouraging that we are at least discussing these concerns.

COVID-19 has altered workplace management practices and has sped up the adoption of remote work across nearly all industries. Although working remotely has many advantages for employees, including reduced commute times, increased flexibility, and cost savings for companies, there are also significant drawbacks. Due to its detrimental effects on worker motivation, collaboration, and teamwork, social exclusion is seen as a crucial issue.

Social Isolation as a Result of Models of Work from Home

Consequently, social isolation merits consideration as it has become a significant problem with the growing use of work-from-home (WFH) systems. When working from home, a lack of engagement translates into social isolation, not being capable of interacting with coworkers, and understanding the culture of the company. These emotions have a significant influence on a worker's health and, consequently, the productivity of the company.

Research has indicated that the unresolved aftermath of social marginalization adversely affects workers' decline in their state of mind. According to numerous research, workers who work from home lack social support and frequently experience loneliness.
